Any Golden Retriever owners out there?

Got a Golden Retriever puppy last night. Been wanting one for years. We can't decide on a name for him though. 11 weeks old, 24 lbs.

just had to put my golden down. his name was rusty but i called him big dummy. great dogs good choice. he will be a loyal friend for years to come.

I had a great red dobie named Duchess...took her to tennis practice in junior high school. She was fine during practice...and she actually gathered up all the tennis balls, put em in one corner (saving us the trouble of getting them), and layed down on em lol.

His morning routine was
Get paper
Get biscuit
Do his thing
Then roll in wet grass and grind his face in the grass/dirt.
He thought he was so handsome after his morning doggie bath:LOL:


We had too put him down earlier this year. He was 12 years old. He was a mix. Father was Lab and mother was Golden. Best dog we ever had.

i had my rusty dog for 10 years but i got him when he was 4. lookin for another golden, or shepard my pound puppies dont cut it. dont get me wrong i love my rats, other than they are ADD
