Any one use one of these on their tube? Got a new ODC 420 coming soon ( got it on E-bay for $99.99) and looking into a less expenise way to hook up with a Fish Finder.

We must have been bidding against each other. I tried to get that sevral times from boatmaster on ebay. Finally got one for $72.00, but I had to get up a 3 in the morning to snipe it.
I used to have an Eagle Cuda and I loved it. Picked it up on sale at Bass Pro for $69.00

mytyt,
My cuda was mounted to my boat, but worked great. Sold the boat and the cuda with it.
Here in a thread I read in the past about mounting a ff.

Buy a fish finder and mount it your self those fish buddies are a rip off when you can get a better quality finder and mount it. I use 8 AA's to power mine and I use it all day 8 hours and more and it does not die. I love mine and you can find some great ones for cheap at Bass Pro or online.

Prowler,
How do you hook your ff up on 8 "AA" bateries. Do you have some kind of harness for them to keep then together? Did you connect then in series or paralles? Can you send a pic?
