Did not feel like putting up a report last week, so here is two reports in one =)
11/4/2009:
Got the green lights from pops yesterday to go fishing. No work. I guess he knew I was feeling a little stressed, so some R and R would keep me at ease. Here is how today went:

Started the day out with the Breakfast of Champions: Gallions large italian combo

Despite the daylight saving time and leaving early, some people are more anxious to fish than I am. I got to the main lake way before the sunrise and there is already a line. I give up on trying to be first in line.

It was a beautiful cold Wednesday morning. There was only one lone shore fisherman today. Guess the shore fishing has slowed down a lot with the cold weather.

I was actually trolling in the morning, it was very slow. I got bit while winding up my spreader. It was a 5-8 pound fish. I tried to bounce her onto the boat, but she came off. Next time I will use more reasoning and use my net. Finally, got to my favorite morning ledge and busted out the plastic. Instant bendo! Put 3 on the boat.

Here is one of the fish that fell for my imitated minnow.

I had a ball catching them on plastics. The only problem is every bait gets swallowed up. Got some from morning ledge. Then found some boils and pulled a couple more out of the water.

Got tired of plastic fish. I think I have A.D.D. or something so I decided to do some trolling. While trolling I found Mr.Falcon fishing also. He caught himself a nice fish and enjoyed himself a nice breakfast. That is him below the arrow. Wished I had better picture than the crap iphone camera. Trolling went really well. Not as good as the plastic fishing in morning, but I will take whatever I can get.

After catching so many fish I was beat. I just anchored up and did some bait and wait and enjoyed the other half of my sandwich. I washed it down with some fruit punch powerade. Life is good.

Caught some more fish after I fueled up. Here is my limit of 10 stripers. A lot more got released with a few LMB.

As soon as the day started, it came to an end. Had a great time on the lake. Fishing today was pretty damn good. A lot of plastic fish. Trolling was pretty decent too. Bait and wait, was non existent.
Hope you enjoyed fishing with me.
10/30/09:
Here is last week report. I only took a few pictures. I was having a bad day. Long story =X. Trolling totally sucked in the morning. So I went with plan B. Bait and wait. But before going to my bait and wait, I had to visit my obligatory morning ledge. Picked a couple of bass and striper. Then I got tired of throwing rubber so I went to do some bait and wait. Caught me another huge channel catfish. Also caught me a large bullhead catfish. I promised my moms friend a catfish, so I ended up keeping the bullhead. Dan aka Lowe Boat came by and did some bait and wait with me. So did a fellow in a nice Seaswirl Striper boat. But the bite died down after they showed up. I caught about 17 stripers, released a lot of dinks. Dan told me that in the evening the trolling was good, so I decided to stick around. Call up Dan later on but he had already left. I trolled and trolled and Dan was right. The evening troll was excellent. Kept my limit to keep the striper population in check. Here are the pictures:

Big Fat Kitty.

The day takes.

parting shot.
Thank you for fishing with me again. Til next time.
