hello everyone..hope everyone had fun with their kids on halloween..i know i did..now just wondering if i should take my son to castaic or pyramid this coming weekend to fish from shore..anyone know if pyramid would be a wise choice or castaic..by the way we will be fishing for stripers...thanks

Definitely go to Castaic. The Lagoon is awesome to fish from shore for LMB. I heard that Pyramid doesn't have very good shore fishing because of the difficult terrain around the banks. You could try Castaic upper lake from shore for striper, but I haven't tried that before because I either take my boat to the upper lake or fish from shore on the lower lake.

If not then yeah go with castaic. Hopefully the shad are still around the shore and docks. fly line shad or light spilt shot about a foot above the shad. cast from shore/damm, If you have a boat then thats the best way.find them first and cast. if not night crawlers work well. also drop shot / T-Rig senkos.
