10-27 Slayage. Bako boys and Staic brothers

After meeting so many good people at the striper fest and promisin' a Bako duct trip to many. We suggested Gary bring down someone and we would start to make good on those promises.

Finsmackdown, Feel the peel, Trailblazer, and I converge on 4 sets of gates that have been producing lately. We got on em good. Totals are 18 landed, 5-6 fish farmed, and only 2-3 fish where we had a strike and no hook-up. Very good hook-up to land numbers for out here.

Wind was HOWLING. 30-40mph??? who knows but our casts were been pushed off target as much as 50 ft.

First spot I draw first blood, then second, then third. HAHAHA.. Schools in session Staic boys!!!! Then Finsmackdown busts 2 while farming 1. Feel the peel was worried, could his advanced age finally start to slow him down? NAH!! He busts a fish.

With 6 fish landed and released. All three of us hook-up. A triple! In a span of 30-40 mins we had 9 fish landed and only one fish farmed. On the walk out, against those strong winds I may add. I make a cast and hook up number 10 at that spot. All in about an hour.

Trailblazer couldn't meet up with us so he headed to a different set of gates and caught 3, farmed 2 and missed 2.

After meeting up with him, Gary and Scottie pair up and go for a nice romantic cruise to the next set of gates. Fins and I ride just behind them. Not sure what was going on but that truck was swerving BAD!! All over the road!

We arrive at the next set where I land 1 and farm 1. Gary lands 1 and farms another. TB lands 1. Fins 0

On to next gate. Trailblazer gets 2 and fins farms 2...

Totals: 18 landed, untold farmed and missed fish

Nice quantity. You guys knocked the poop out them. Man I was going to fish after work but the house was almost blowing over it was so windy. I said heck no. Must have been 70mph gusts in the AV. This morning, not a breeze. Check out my hookie thread. No quantity but a good quality one.

Thats a real nice fishery you got there, the blindfold was a little excessive but thanks to your expert NAVIGAYTION i was able to get my SLAY on! Boy do i hate farmin fish, what a ROOK.
the wind was unreal:EyePop:, ive never fished in winds like that. Twice the wind tossed my lure about 10 yards passed the other side of the duct,CRAZY!

Its pretty bad when the wind blows your cast on the road when you were aiming for the other side and your cast never even hit water!
