Swimbait season at DVL has arrived

After our first stock of the year Thursday and more to come weekly its time to pull out the big sticks and tie on your favorite swimbait. Today i had a trip with Joe and his 12 year old son Jake and what a day we had. With the fish chasing shad and freshly stocked trout they didn't have much chance. Jake had a very impressive day for a 12 yr old putting over 20 fish in the boat by himself and learned how to cast a baitcaster very well. The fishing can't really get any better than it is right now with lots of different techniques working. But the big ones are in trouble till the end of the year because nothing gets me more excited than swimbait season. If your looking to top your personel best or just take advantage of a lifetime of swimbait knowledge call me and lets hook up. Again great job Jake and great job to his dad for raising a great little fisherman. Pics to come.
