Seriously cheap! I'd try to get the best boat and trailer for $300 without motor and just put the $500 towards a good motor and maybe a fish finder or some seats.

Lawnmower engines do not belong on boats!
Seriously though, that Briggs is air cooled and will overheat when trolling for a long time.
Not to mention your boat will make a lawnmower sound. No bueno!

how big is your garage and how long is you boat trailer all the way from the tongue to the prop of your motor? you can modify your trailer to tongue to brake away up to 36" even 40" if you have the space on it..
im doing it to mine tomorrow
