If any of you wonder why I never post anthing, It's because everytime I do, it tells me I need to log in, AFTER I am already logged in....:Angry: And when I do it again, it erases my thread. The last 1 about 500-750 words.....GRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Of course this one goes through....

sounds like a browser issue, try downloading latest patch or update your windows patch.

I had this problem once. It was one of the best reports that I had written in word and then it kept getting deleted. I tried for a week then gave up. Eventully, the problem resolved itself and I was able to post again.
I said this to say, I feel your pain!

When you login right next tothe username and password, check mark the box that say's remember me. You shouldn't have that problem after that.

500-750 words!!! what are you writing, a novel?

j/k. yeah it's sucks that you have to log-in again after being idle for a few mins.

Bingo!

You stay logged in. No more "time-outs", ever.

It does the same thing to me whenever im posting a report. Before clicking on submit, I highlight everything I typed, right click, copy...If it erases what i typed when i re-log in I just paste it back in the message box.

Try logging in and make sure you check the "remember me" box as well...... once you're logged in, SAVE that page to your "favorites". In most cases, that should enable you to always be logged in whenever you visit the site by clicking on your favorite.

ALSO.... in case you haven't already, to enhance your posting. .....try this:

1. Click where it says: "User CP" (top left of your screen)

2. After doing that, you will see a column to the left that is titled "Control Panel"

3. Under "Settings & Options" click on "Edit Options"

4. Go to the bottom of the page and you will see a section called: "Miscellaneous Options"

5. Choose: "Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing"

6. Then click on "Save Changes".........

This will enhance your posting screen..... and give you all the text options as well as the smileys (emoticons), code, and even an optional spell check!

Make the change and then take a look at your post writing screen.... if you dont like it, you can always change it back.

Some individuals have 30 anti virus/spam/etc applications installed that might supercede browser settings. For example, if you have set ur 3rd part app to keep a session cookie for a set amount of time, even if you click on the "remember my password" check box, you'll still have a problem.

Spend an evening at Adelita's and that will solve your frustrations!

Or you can try the Chicago Bar!

remember to enable cookies again after browsing through all that porn.

You dont even need to use word for the rough draft, just select all and copy before you post, then you can just paste it if things go screwy again..
