After friend's Q on Saturday we are all now with zero bugs. Got pretty shlt hammered on Saturday so not going in the water and hunt. Hopped on the Hotchkiss with Xman and did some old school hoopin. Remembering that the crawl had been late so we got to the grounds at 8pm, baited up cages and over stuffed them. First net in the water 8pm and first pull at 9pm. Last pull was at 1am and I am now dog tired.

Info:
- Location LBC
- 9 flat hoops and one conical and again nothing in the conical
- Cages were used and mackerel were the stuffing
- Water Temp was the same at 67 deg (surface temp)
- Depth was between 30 and 40 feet
- Mild winds,
- Water was glass,
- Red Tide with a very slow incoming,

No limts for three but did manage a bat ray, a couple sculpin and a few crab in the hoops. All released but the legal bugs and a handful of crab.

Last set we were pulling up and putting stuff away, I look down and there was a bug crawling around. We must have left it loose on deck and didn't notice. Who knew how many sets ago it was just crawling around. LMAO!

End of the night and ready to head in, everything nice and stacked. http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j219/fishs2k/Fishing%202009/10-18-2009/DSC08441.jpg

Thanks again Hotchkiss for the ride.
