I got Schatz and the Jerky place scoped in. Know the Village very well. Hard to chose between Jack's and Village. My dad always stopped at Jack's and then we raided the tackle store next door.

The Brewery was the one I couldn't remember. Never been there or even seen it. I haven't had Black Cherry Soda in ages (literally) ! Anybody out there remember White Rock sodas?

Stop at the rest-stop just north of Little Lake on 395, they have gasoline and a small store well stocked with snacks and Beer, also restrooms at the rest-stop.

there used to be what looked like a hotel\store\stop on the west side of the 395 at Little Lakes..If memory serves me, it mostly burned down a few years back. There's Brady's just south a bit, right where the 395 and the 14 meet..That might be the place your thinking about.
