striperfest quickie

Ralph and I fished striperfest saturday, but couldn't make the afterparty festivities...Sounded like it was gonna be some fun. Fishing was toughter today for us. Got one within 10 mins and figured it would be WFO..but not. We trolled around the lake for a hand ful of fish, all schoolies. We stopped on a few spots for a couple topwater LMB, very small ones. Also got a striper on the Bass assasin soft jerk, in the the sparkle silver. Got a couple on the crawler and lug worm also. We ended the day at 530 when we stopped on some boils, but wasted time pulling in the trollers, by then they sunk out, popped back up again. One of the cliffhangers, nailed one off the shore. Looked like a nicer fish. We headed in with seven fish in the box. Couldn't make weigh in, but did have much chance without something over 5 lbs. I saw someone caught another smallie out there, and we saw one floating dead midlake..
