Went to Quail Lake this AM and it was beautiful out there. I caught my first Aquaduct striper right outside the gates of Quail. There were a few other guys fishing that were catching stripers also. We all were using chicken liver for the bait.

Awesome! Glad to see a report from Quail Lake finally. I wasn't sure if they closed it for fishing or not. I just wish the gates were more accessible. Great job!

Man, I've fished Quail several times in the past & always ended up flying the hated Skunk Flag. I had begun to think that all the fish stories were just urban legend. But that is a serious striper! I'm still waiting for my first Aqueduct striper after too many empty-handed excursions. Of course, I did catch a water-filled plastic bag that gave me all I could handle on light tackle. . .

Man, I've fished Quail several times in the past & always ended up flying the hated Skunk Flag. I had begun to think that all the fish stories were just urban legend. But that is a serious striper! I'm still waiting for my first Aqueduct striper after too many empty-handed excursions. Of course, I did catch a water-filled plastic bag that gave me all I could handle on light tackle. . .Nice fish,I went to taft last sunday,caught a moss covered tumbleweed, it felt like a fish when it hit,the current was pretty good.on light,8#.Left my 15# setup on front porch,forgot to take it!Went home after I untangled the mess.That's a keeper you got there!
