Perris Hog 10-11-2009

I have been to Perris before, but not for bassin only wakeboarding a few years back. So my friend and I decided to leave the boat behind and go tubing this past Sunday. The morning bite was decent although the entire day didn't turn out any numbers. My friend landed 3 along with this hog all before 9:30. Myself I landed one from the tube, one from shore, and one that tore off the drag and ran to the weeds from shore that I lost. Anyhow after this nice CPR on this hog, he swam off to be caught another day. Oh yeah, we threw this guy on the digital scale and it read 8.4 lb. I haven't myself caught one this big myself yet so you can bet I will have to be going back to get me some more of Perris.

wow!!! now that's a catch. that must of been an awesome fight on the tube.

That is a beauty, WOW. Perris has some really good size averages. Chatterbaits work pretty good there along the reed lines.
