The Bro and I met up with John (Klocked) for our first trip of the season in LB yesterday. Met up at South Shores and were on the water by 1730. Hit up our usual spots for 5 legals and about a dozen shorts. Not a whole lot of folks out but some of usual spots were already getting worked but we still found some places to hoop. From the folks we talked to it did not sound like it was a great call. Anyways, we were happy with 5 and called it a night at 0330. Good luck out there and be safe.
Nice to see a report Hesbros! I miss reading about those NPH spotty sessions. Hope you guys pull limits on the bugs next time.

Once again, I had a blast fishing and hooping with Eddie and Rich.
We started out by dropping the hoops in a certain spot and while
they soaked, we fished. Lots of Sculpin and a few Sandbass be-
fore our first pull. No pics of them as they were just something to
pass the time with.
In one net there was a Sandbass about 17" that we c&r'd. If it's
not a lobster or crab of legal size, it has to back. Other bycatch
in the hoops were Sculpin and Rays.
A big suprise for me that night was back at the launch ramp, boat
back on the trailer. Eddie transfers the bugs from the bait tank to
a bag then hands it down to me. I set the bag down while they
finish up securing the boat. It was time to go our seperate ways
and Eddie points to the bag and says "there you go, they're yours".
I'm like "what?, no, I don't think so!!"
I had been thinking... for all the work that they have to do, how
far they have to travel to and from the ramp, it didn't matter to
me if I got one or even none of those lobsters. It just didn't mat-
ter to me because I had a great time on the water with great com-
pany. They insisted that I have all of them and actually gave me
some really good reasons for it. All I can say is that I'm...Oh crap..
all these mushy feelings....:ROFL:
Eddie and Rich, you guys are awesome!! Thanks for the invite!!
and the bugs!! I cant wait to do it again!

Klocked, what an awesome gesture from Eddie and Rich. Makes me think about our first few NPH outings. Eddies generosity in advice and lures is the reason why me and Tesserz are such harbor freaks. :Cool:
Eddie, it's good to see a report from you. Hope to see a fishy report soon. :Cool: It's been awhile, we need to meet up again for some spottie acton. :Twisted:

Stop getting all Mushy on us!!!!
That is the why HESBROS are so much fun to go out with! It is all about their onboard guest for that particular trip!
A slower opening night but there will be beter counts in the future!!!!
