this isnt a dry rub but this is great if you like TGIF fridays jack daniels menu. i know i do

1 cup Jack Daniel's Whiskey (our your desired amount)
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
salt and pepper to taste

Combine ingredients in a saucepan and mix well. Simmer for 20 minutes
then allow to cool. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. If
you make it a few days in advance the flavors will have more time to
blend together.

You simmer the JD sauce and then let it set ... then what put it on the ribs and let them marinate?

How do you use the rubs? ... and do you use any other sauces after that?

The JD sounds cool. I may just marinate myself while I'm at it.

regarding the dry rubs, it can go either way. its more preference if u want to add a lil bbq sauce to it towards the end. i tend to do them seperate.
