Hi Victor101,

Asking .... heck no ... I'll answer almost anything but especially the dinner bell !

Thanks. The tie was actually a braid to braid deal but .... I screwed up the double blood knot I can tie very well and the two wraps didn't come back together properly. Not being cinched up I'm thinking one line cut into one of the connecting lines to both knots. Anyway ... if the knot had been corrected, I'd still have my $10 !! ha ha ha

Carl ... the deckie has a splice that is a killer. I can't tie it yet but my other reel has a splice he ties. Awesome ... slides through the guides so smooth. Tie is a number of loops 5 wraps each side then one tag goes and wraps up on itself again ... I loose it after that !!

I've watch those animated knot tutorials till I get dizzy and can still only do half of them !! If you have a suggestion ..... let 'er rip .... I ain't too proud to beg.

Hi hbomb,

Looks like anyone going out this weekend ought to take along their trolling outfit equipped with either the small micro plastic-head trolling feathers in purple/blue/white or the 'Jap' feathers. I know, I know very politically incorrect but those have been called that (not by me you can bet and hopefully few others nowdays) for 70 years. For those not knowing of these lures ..... they are the bullet-head, red-eyed, feathered trolling (Japan feathers) lures often a mere 3/8th to 2oz that one sees being offered everywhere. One of the most difficult lures around to learn to fish successfully. Catches everything in the right hands.
