24 Hour Fishing Pier and parking lot has been closed.
Phase II of the Lagoon Slope Stabilization Project has begun this week. As of October 6th the 24 Hour Fishing Pier and parking lot has been closed so that work may take place along the shoreline directly under and to the north of the pier. So from now until December there will be no fishing from the 24 Hour Fishing Pier. During the length of the project we will be allowing for night fishing and parking at the Lagoon Launch Ramp parking lot. This parking lot will remain open all night in place of the 24 Hour lot. Keep in mind that the launching of boats, float tubes, rafts, etc. is still not permitted after normal operating hours and violaters will be cited. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause but unfortunately it is required to complete this project.
