So a lot of you folks may have heard that I was writing a book....in fact some of you were on on this forum back in 2005 when I posted reports of some of my research trips (aka backcountry fishing trips!). I was supposed to have been done with the book four years ago but the Parchers gig happened and set the time table back a bit. Well....I finally finished the dang thing. It is currently being printed and I will have the books in hand on November 16th!!! It's been a lot longer process than I expected but I'm done and I'm very proud of what I've put together.
The book will detail 25 lakes in the Eastern Sierra....all short hike-in lakes ranging as far north as Virginia Creek and as far south as Bishop Creek. The book is in full color cover to cover and provides details on the various trout, tactics, basic hiking info and a bunch more. It will retail for $24.95....I figured $1 per hike isn't too steep (pun intended). I will also be running a special for FNN members during the month of December....more details on that come mid-November when I have the books in my possession.
