picked this up off craigslist for 500.00 cash.
its in descent shape,just no motor.
needs motor...115-150hp
carpet and a good buff wax job.
I thinks it was a good deal,long as it floats right..lol

didnt come with that motor...just boat and trailer.
i think the one in the pic blew a head or something,
i figure i can find one but as for now just striping it down
to carpet and clean up.

started taking off the storage lids
and stripping out the old nasty carpet today

Looks like you made a good deal. What's the length of that Champ? Looking at the pictures, seems like a 150 would fit that boat like a glove. Don't forget to post up some pics and updates on your project. I'm in the middle of restoring an '82 Ranger myself and contemplating on redoing the carpet or not.

the boat is a 176 champ...so a 150 will be perfect
found one for 1500 with a new power head.
so im selling my archery stuff for 800$...lol half way there.

will list my Hoyt bow and all acceseries soon in the classifieds....

got all of the storage lids off and cleaned all the bins out.
found an ice chest full of beer cans.
pretty clean inside for the most part.
gonna start tearing out the floor carpet next,least there isnt alot of that.
its nice having the boat here at my shop,when its slow i can go out and work on it.
