Got the news that FNN's original "Trout Guru" Timster had pulled out a nice rainbow from the icy waters of Big Virginia Lake this week and graced the Virgina Lake website with this solid 3lb fish and sly smile...well done TIMMY!!!!

Apparently word of Timster's uncanny trout slaying abilities have been spreading like an STD, to the point of approaching rockstar/super hero status...if you see this man at the Vine this winter, get his autograph while it is still affordable!

And I thought it was such a nice gesture by Timster to give those two girls his fish like that too. Always love seeing such acts of kindness. (Uh......you sure that was only a 3 pound fish though? Those girls looked to be struggling with it a bit!)

REALLY NICE FISH , The upper virginia lk. is a favorite of mine this time of year , as I so miss being there . Hope theres more action shots coming .

That is right Billy....Big V is the upper lake and Little V is right near the resort etc.
Timster was indeed fishing from shore.
