Camped at skinner over the weekend with my girl and our one year old son. Only fish saturday due to the wind. Rented a pontoon and On the water by seven and just out of the marina a boil crashes just off my bow and My girlfriend was able to pic a nice striper on a kastmaster that I had rigged up just for that reason. After that we jumped around the east end trying to find the cats but just couldent find em i did manage to get a nice bluegill while fly lining some chicken liver in one of the spots. After about ten am the wind picked:Evil: up and never let down it blew all night and on into sunday morning so i opted to pass on trying to fight the wind and just packed up and headed home. It was a great camping trip and a good time with my family and we still beat the skunk so I cant complain.:Big Grin:

Great job!!
1 striper and 1 bluegill is always better than the skunk. The weather was pretty nasty out there, we ended staying in the east end most of the day to get away from the wind. As long as the water stay around 70-76 the catfish should still be bitting. If not just wait unlit the water cool down and bigger striper will be back.

Nice report. The wind does ruin everything sometimes. Better luck next time...
