View Full Version : My loss could be your gain

I have been blessed with a promotion at work. And while that means a lot of neat things for me both now and the future, it also means that there will be rail space opening up on an upcoming 5.5-day trip. The trip leaves October 27 out of Seaforth and is aboard the Pacific Star. Right now, Guadalupe Island is the intended destination but we know that may change. Might end up being a Cedros trip for fall yellows or offshore for bigger tuna. At any rate, it will be a great trip on a great boat with a great bunch of guys (and a couple of great ladies, too.)
My loss is your gain. It is paid for at $1280.
Email me if you’re interested, we can talk. Thank you!

Marley - Congrat's on the new promotion. Too bad about your 5.5 day. I'm on the same trip too.

Guys, this is one heck of a steal to go on a 5.5 day. If you've never fished with the Senor Tuna crew your missing out. Definitely a boat load of professional fish killers.

Just in case anybody has any doubt's about this trip....This is last year's report.

I think the set ups I have would do just fine on that trip. But one could never have enough rods & reels to fish with.

And low and behold I see this post.

this asian dude caught this cow on a 1.5day took him only over an hour on freakin 30lb mono!!! wtf amazing san diego boat

Have fun out there Patrick. Ricky-Ray will teach you everything you need to know.

I'd sure hate to pay your galley tab at the end of 5.5 days!

just for the record tm65 beer will not be included in the price it it about 2 bucks a beer and your not allowed to bring your own

Ricky-Ray

Just to be even more clear on this trip.

Mexican Permits, Guadalupe wristband (if we go), fuel surcharge (if they charge one), drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), fish cleaning and crew trip is all extra.

As of right now there is no fuel surcharge but if for some reason the price of gas skyrockets again then there is that possibility of a fuel surcharge.

I got out bid on this trip Rich. I think the food is included on this trip. As far as the beer tab , that would depend on the fishing.:Wink:

I am sure my meger bar tab you could afford buddy.:Big Grin::Wink:

What??? You're not going now???

I was hoping to see my FIRST EVER Saltman65 saltwater fishing report!!

P.S. Lets's see, a guesstimated TM65 galley tab....(30 beers a day X $2) X 5 days....Ouch! But you know if I ever was on a boat with you I'd buy you some rounds out of the guilt (minor) of me clowning you all the time.

$ 300.00 baar tab is not that bad Rich. I think they would need a bigger boat to carry all the extra beer .Or they would have to call an order in from another boat . Thats happened more than once .:Wink:

Just read in WON that Guadalupe Island will be closed to fishing. Might be a different local now.

Yeah, but you have all that great fall weather offshore with YFT's and a great shot at a trip up the coast to finish. It would be like a mini 10-day without the drive to Mag Bay.
