Well got there with my tube at 7 in the morning with the tube

It was about 44 degres when i got there it was chilly, the water stayed around 62-64 degrees the at the highest. I was cruising around on the lake caught my first fish maybe 20 min but its was a little crappie. (well i think it is) I caught 7 of those but i threw them all back in.

After trying a spot for about 1 hour with out getting a hit i decided to try another spot i had a PB in the water while i was paddling to a spot i got a big hit. This fish was a fighter it was at least a 4min fight. I was using 2lb test and my *** forgot my net in the truck and I was scared about snapping the line so i just let it tire itself out. It was a 14 inch trout FINALLY TROUT SEASON lol

Got another hit and it was a bigger bit than the Rainbow trout i was fighing it for about 1min and it cam off the hook :Crying:

I stopped fishing about around 2 after 2 guys in a boat trolled over my F**KING lines and cut both of them:Angry:. It was nearly the whole damn spool Pissed me of they trolled not even 15 feet in front of me and said "O sorry". They saw me fishing there no its not like they didnt see me. After that I was in no mood to fish anymore. I was enjoy myself at that lake with the scenery and weather :Angry: Damn assholes
Cant wait for more trout fishing

Nice catch and I like your tube setup. Yep thiers always some bone head out thier to spoil your fun times.

Nice tube, and nice job on the fishes. I've never tubed there, gonna have to try it now. Now you gotta try Jenks, usually its very peaceful, nothing motorized is allowed. Go on a weekday and usually you'll pretty much have the lake to yourself. Tight lines -bfishin

about 20 years ago i was fishing big bear lk. during the fourth of july weekend and was trolling and kept having these idiots come flying past me pulling a skier at about 30 ft. behind me , SO i took off my rear anchor of the 50 ft. float nylon anchor rope and just let it float way back behind the boat , it took awhile but some other idiot comes flying by me trolling and low and behold my anchor rope which i attached between the boat and rope a peice of mono broke lose and rapped itself around the prop of this guys boat , I never laughed so hard and loud ever . but the idiots keeped coming .

yeah i want to try that lake maybe ill try that lake at the end of the month or so. I mostly just fish the weekdays i hate crowds at the lakes. I wanna catch fish not watch other people catch them :ROFL:

Hey, I hear ya. Just to let you know, the parking lot at Jenks will be closed soon but you can still fish there. They lock the gate that leads to the lake so you gotta walk about a 1/4 mile.
Shoot me a PM if you heading up there and want some company. I live about 15 min from there.
