GOT THE DAY OFF OF WORK AND WANTED TO GO TO CASTAIC TO FLOAT THE BOAT WHILE I REPLACED MY CARPET SKIDS ON THE BOAT TRAILER , WHILE I COMING DOWN LAKE HUGHES CANYON ROAD IM LOOKING AT THE LAKE AND I CAN SEE HALF OF IT IS CALM AND THE OTHER HAS WHITE CAPS,I GET DOWN TO THE GATE AND THEY ARE HAVING A MEETING WITH THE LIFE GUARDS AND GATE GIRLS ,LOOKS LIKE THE LAKE WILL BE CLOSED ALL DAY,SO I TURNED AROUND AND HEADED TO THE MID. BY TIME I GOT THERE IT WAS TEN OCLOCK, SO I PUT THE BOAT IN THE WATER AND DID THE CHANGE OUT OF THE SKIDS.AFTER ABOUT FIFTHTEEN MINUTES I WAS FISHING IT WAS VERY WINDY SO IT WAS FISH THE ZONES I KNOW WORK IN THOSE CONDITIONS. THE LAKE WAS AT FULL POOL AND THEY WERE STILL LETTING WATER IN, THAT MENT THAT MUCH WATER WAS GOING OUT.SURE ENOUGH THE WINDY SPOTS WERE MR STRIPEY LAYS IN WAIT FOR THE BAIT WERE POPPING,RELAES A LIMIT AND TOOK A LIMIT FOR THE TACO'S , IT WAS VERY COOL WITH THE STRONG WIND ALMOST REMINDED ME OF EARLY WINTER,IT WASNT TILL AROND 330 THE WIND DIED DOWN A LITTLE , I THINK ANOTHER MONTH THEN THE BIG FISH START COMING OUT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,t/o

Those are some PRETTY looking carpet trailer bunk replacements , leftovers from the Indian Casino in Bishop , lol you'll be easy to spot in the parking lot at DVL from now on . But really a good slaying on the stripers Bob , your fishing ALL the time almost equals my fishing and hunting all the time , ha // steve
