Team 57 Descends on Chris's Pond!

After a weekend in the surf, the gears were set in motion to hit the turf for a 24 hour session at Sarl...destination Chris's pond. Hit the spot shy of 5pm, checked in for the night and headed over to the pond where MaV had already grabbed us a spot where I figured it best to set up a tent for the night.

Looking back I wish I took a few more pictures, but I was able to snap a few along the way so I will let those that I did take do most of the talking....

"Bebop" Bob, Fred, 2quick and new member Tony(thanks for sharing all the firewood) were fishing to our right and managed close to a dozen fish, including the ones Fred released with his stringer still attached :LOL:

LilTD was all giggles over this thing....shots like this make it all worthwhile regardless of what you catch, or in my case what you don't catch! :LOL:

The shoreline was hoppin with activity along Chris's pond(tater, bullets, MvW, kalidawg and Sansou's better half Maddie who kept LilTD busy all night :LOL:)

Took a walk to the left since I was not getting any love from the kittys and met new Team57 member "Vadad"(please correct me if I messed that up :Embarrassed:). After introducing myself and wishing him luck I said "you are going to get bit watch", not 30 secs later this scene unfolded before my eyes :Envious:

Continued to make some rounds and chilled with Frenchy and his ladies(including Hitts0n), the 3 amigos including Casty, Saint and Santa Fe. Bummed I did not get a chance to chill with the SCCA crew, but I will catch you guys next time I promise!

Although I had several shots to punk the skunk I just could not seal the deal, thanks for helping me out Frenchy.....BUT revenge WILL be mine!!! :Twisted:

Dana thanks for making this event happen, I sure hope there are many more like it planned for the future. Thank you to Sarl for setting up the bbq, it was GREAT....my only suggestion would be to set it up in the grass area between Chris's pond and the 91 next time as I think more people would have came by and less food would have been leftover, aside from that it was AWESOME so thank you again!

On a side note I saw this picture posted by the exit gate...what did the "3 Amigos" do to earn such notoriety? :ROFL:

Yeah I think I blew that one, sorry for the confusion guys! The funny thing is I recall his name being Ernie and Dana referred to him as "Eddie"...hopefully some of the newer guys will chime in on the board, regardless it was good to have some cool new people in the mix!
