Castaic mon father/son Striper action

Greeting's FNN I woke up this morning thinkin i was going to take me kid to the LA Fair only to find out it's closed on Monday and Tuesday. Then i read Wingnut's report on Castiac and i had to roll. So i got my kid up and my Brother in law called and said "You fishin today bro" I replied meet me at Castaic. We arrived 10:45 to overcast skies so i was really hoping to get into some boils. So we just hit our planned location to see if that bite was still on.
We had to work for them today but to watch my son work the reel today with his broke hand was simply amazing. My brother had a blast as well. We boated 18 schooly's and farmed more then i wish to share.:Angry: Thanks FNN

The bite has slowed a bit, but they're still out there... just have to work a little harder for them. :Wink: Nice report! :Cool:
