Anybody ever fish Puerto Vallarta or Cabo?

Hi all,

Taking the family on a 7 day cruise for X-mas (12/19 through 12/26/09).
Looking to arrange some fishing in one or both ports. My wife likes to stay on board, I have a friend with a Super Panga in Mazatlan, but would like to wet a line a one or both of the other ports.

Fishyboy and I have already done the other activities there, swim with dolphins, snorkel, sail, zip line, etc, etc.

So anybody with suggestion, contacts, stories???

For P.V. its just a matter of how much you want to spend, and what you're looking to target. Plenty of guides, price ranges and species to target.

Hi Sansou,

Really what I am looking for is a super panga. The bill fish, and often tuna are a waste of time as the ship usually disembarks about 7am. So inshore is likely to be more successful as I start late and need to end early.

Not looking for a sportfisher, a center console at most. Have had great times all over the pacific and Caribbean cost on pangas, and other small fishing boats.

All that being said, ....................HELP!
