Went to mile square park and fished for a few hours, this place has neat fish.

I started with mealworms under a bobber, and ended up with a blood parrot cichlid.

Pretty neat, but no fight at all, seemed unafraid of people, i released him and he stayed in the same spot i caught him. Really sad to see him there, he was friendly.. Someone give him a good home. I would do it myself, but im unable to keep blood parrots due to the money needed to care for them.

Two guys next to me were bass fishing, one of them nailing like 5 bass, 2 of them were nice sized. I called it quits when an elderly couple sat on the bench and started having sex.

Im never comfortable here at night. This place has some straight-out freaks.

Those Parrot Cichlids are really a sad invention by man. The are so messed up looking. Severums and Midas Cichlids are beautiful fish, but when you breed these two together to try and make strange, different fish for monetary reasons, that's just wrong.

They do terribly in the wild, which makes me feel so bad for the poor bugger. They need to stop this hybrid crap. Arent fish already beautiful? MAn..
