Well, I was pondering doing this myself and stressing pretty darn hard. Always wanted it but life got in the way....

Quan (fishtaco) called me after seeing one of my posts about it. Hooked me up with Rich, who works with Business owner Steve of Alternative floor coatings.

Steve gave me a price I couldn't resist, things are slow everywhere....

Its done!!!! the Top coat is still wet in the pics.

100% industrial/commercial Epoxy.
Urethane top coat.
Diamond ground the floor and patched all cracks etc.
Couldnt ask for two better guys, fun and fisherman. So we had some good laughs also.....

Before pics of my floor in garage....

Men at work.....Just finishing up the Grinding...

This is the Big Diamond Grinder. Looks like a Floor Buffer on Steroids withy Vacuum attacjhed...

This is the EPOXY coat as it dries, lookin good so far!!!

The top Urethane coat, still wet, will self level as it dries and shine a tad bit more & be smoother...

I am STOKED, needless to say.... I left the Baseboard unpainted not knowing if I was going to do the floor when I painted... Told them to get it up tight as much as possible....
I will tape and paint the baseboard and start my custom by Frank Shelving project when I get back from my 7 day Tuna trip Oct 12...

Steve & Rich do Commercial and residential floors. Some custom graphics and nice work. Very fun and nice guys also...
If you have a work place or home that needs or wants (like me) a Super Floor Showroom quality... Give them a shout...

I just got finished putting 2 coats of paint on the baseboards..
The top coat of Urethane leveled out great and has a very high gloss.
Looks supercalifragicexpealidocious!!!!!!!!!

Waiting to turn the water heater back on!!! Had to shut it down with the Urethane fumes...
Man, about knocked me out last night, had to go out and lock the back door.. WOW what a rush!!!! :Envious:

Ill start the cabinets and shelves mid Oct..
Reel Repair shop included!!
(actually I do that inside the house, A/C & heat is a must in the desert).

I'm really glad you're happy with the floor Frank. It was a pleasure meeting you and having the opportunity to talk stories with you between dry times. I hope you have a great time on your trip and I look foward to hanging out with you again in the future... -Rich
