Well boys and girls we are a GO for the Bass-a-thon this year. I have been working very hard along with the fine folks at Western Outdoor News and our Tackle manager John Duetsche to get this years show planned. Thanks for all your hard work. Here are the details as of 09-22-09.

Show dates-November 20th* 21st and 22nd
*Lowrance 4 hour training class only on Nov. 20th 5-9pm.
Main stage speakers are:2009 FLW World Champion Greg Hackney, TV Host [Scott Martin Challenge] and FLW champ Scott Martin. 2009 Won Bass US Open Champion Gary Dobyns, #2 Bassfan World Rankings and FLW AOY Brent Ehrler, and Big fish and fishing hall of famer Bill Siemental.

We will have a whole new layout this year and there will be more professional [larger] factory tackle displays.
Larger clothing displays.
Tackle workshops for the beginning angler like: Bass Basics 101 with Rich Tauber, Basic plastic worm setups with Mike Folkstad, Swimbait 101 with Mike Long and basic electronics skills with Lowrance's Jarrett Edwards. Basic knot tying for bass tactics. These are going to be small group seminars with "hands on" training for 10-15 anglers.
New lounge section.
"Checked out" Tackle storage room.
More food selection
Kids casting contest
Huge adult casting contest with proceedes going to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.

This is just a few of the exciting events that will go along with the 2009-2010 premiere of the worlds best bass tackle. Also this is our biggest sale event of the year there will be loads of great deals and closeouts. We will have also our biggest boat sale ever so bring your best offers.

Appreciate it Rick, I really wanted to bring my little boy and was bummed when the rumors that it wasn't happening this year cropped up. Thanksgiving and bass-a-thon, SWEET.:Thumbs Up:

What are the details of the Lowrance class?

is the same one they do around the country with the "Hands On" experience. We have had smaller 1 hour classes here at our previous Bass-a-thons but this is the big show. There just is not time on the weekend to give 4 hours to the class, so that is why the Friday evening schedule. I will keep all our great FNN customers updated as to all information reguarding this class and all Bass-a-thon events. Rick Grover

One of Bassfishing's greatest legends Dave Gleibe has just agreed to do a seminar at our show. One of the best shallow water anglers EVER, Dave is a welcome addition to our star studded cast. Rick Grover

rick, i have been at the anahiem store and i must say you have the VERY BEST BASS fishing store... incredible amount of quality stuff.... and great service, jason, and john up front are very helpful... but i always leave your store BROKE....LOL LOL hope to see you at the bass a thon and leave broke again...hahaha

looks like I'll be loading up on Damiki plastics! Those plastics are great!

I hope Jackall is there with their plastics from Japan, maybe introduce them to US already. I got a hold of a pack from Japan, and it's been killer, I've just been looking for the 4 inch model.
