Got to puddingstone about 40 minutes too early and waited for the cashier to come in. After we paid, launched and on the water around 635 am. started right away along the bluff wall to the right. We both threw topwater with Whitney striking first with a great fish to start the day...

It slowed after that and we couldn't get any more fish on top, went and fished the various coves and dam areas until we hit the life guard dock, fished the area for a little to no avail. Decided to motor around to sail cove, starting pitching around the pilings and docks for nothing. Trolled the rest of the cove and as were coming out, pitched my creature into some overhanging brush. Tap, tap, Set!!!! Pulled out a nice fish just shy of 4 lbs...

After that we each tagged another fish or two on dropshot, about the size of our worms...lol...Off the water by 1130 am as the fast boaters we starting to come in fast. All in all a nice day on the water...

a big thanks to JW for the heads up on some areas to fish. Thanks again JW

Thanks Whit again for a fun day dude!

Way to go guys. Those are definitely a couple of quality and healthy looking bass from the "Pudd". Also, the fishing should pickup when we start seeing a major temperature drop which should happen probably within a couple of weeks and after when the lake turns over.

Again, Congrats on a very nice catch and for posting a great report along with some nice pictures of your catch.

Tight Lines.....
