Fished on the Dominator overnighter that was advertised on 976-TUNA. It left on Sat 9/19 @ 930 pm and came back close to midnight the next day. Great value and awesome fishing!

I've never been to Mission Bay Sportfishing and it's been over 10 yrs going on a tuna trip (baja excluded). My expectations were honestly low since I've missed out most of the great fishing this year. Instead of WSB or yellows, been killin the Bat rays! Anyways, we fished close to 100 miles from SD and worked it all day long.

Just wanted to say that this boat is great. The crew was awesome and the Capt is top notch. The official report on 976-tuna stated limits of YFT, 50 dodos and 18 albacore. They forgot to mention the size of these things. I would estimate 35lbs+ for the larger ones. A few yellows were caught too.

Trolling got some of the larger albacores, but most fish on the sardines, 2/0 ringed baithook, 25-30 lb test and floro, 1/4 oz slider or rubbercore. Good luck!

Between my buddy and I we had:
3 Albacore
6 Yellowfin Tuna
3 Dodos
2 Skipjack

Nice limit for an overnighter. Did I mention the crew kicked ***?!

Really nice fishing there. Looks like the grade of fish are getting a little bigger each week.

Good to see the fish are getting bigger. I hope to get out real soon here but since Little League has started it will be much tougher to get out. Nice compact report.
