Lake Perris 09/15/09

Went out to the lake today with the boat and didn't have much luck. Caught 5 Blue Gil, two were keepers. We tried a multitude of methods and only caught fish on worms. Any suggestions??

2 or 4 lb test line, drop shot rig with small split shot as weight, # 10 Mosquito hook, live cricket or wax worm, 6 to 10 feet deep outside weedlines. Tiny maribou jigs in black with a cricket or worm is a great bait too.
