I haven't fished the Bay in a decade and need some updated tips on what to use and where to go for the Spotties. I'm taking my niece out next Monday and we will be renting a skiff. Also, any help on where the grass bed are located would be appreciated. Thanks for the anticipated tips!

In the morning hours ive done well around the bait barge. short cuda, big sandbass, even an occasional halibut. you can use 3inch big hammers or pearl swimbaits. or buy a scoop of live bait.

well since you`ll have skiff I suggest going to bridge pilings and throughing 3in hammers at the pilings and let the bait sink parellel to the piling.Or just get live bait and us a 1/4 ounce weight and a live bait hook.and see what you can get
