Went and fished by the seal beach north side jetty this morning. My brother went surfing yesterday and said there was 1000's of fish schooling and chillin in the waves. I didnt belive him so I went today. I couldnt get one to bite.
1st I started from shore water to my ankles. I wanted to get closer cuz i couldnt reach them, I ended up a few inches below my chest and im
6' 6''. I threw everything at these fish and couldnt get a bite. I dont know what they were ive never seen anything like it. they were all over. i would havev taken pics but i didnt wanna ruin my camera chest deep in water. Gave up and went to the pier. Gave it 2 hours fishing whole squid (minus head) on one rod and two small strips of squid on the other. All for one croaker. Oh well, it was nice to be out. Oh and if be one has been out there lately, what kind of fish were those?

i was out there about 3weeks ago and seen alot of those needle fish jumpin all over the place.

yea they were alot fatter than needle fish

Some fat flatties in there if you can get them to cooperate. I use waders.

Wait till you see the guys trying to snag the mullet!

they might have been yfc,when i was there i caught like 6 of them.
