A quick Labor Day report from Belmont Pier

Sometimes, all it takes is a day out fishing.......

We couldn't get there on time, so we ended up fishing the slack tide with cut anchovies. Didn't catch anything at all, neither did our shoulder-to-shoulder neighbors! This was his first skunked outting so far. A little bruised ego, but he took it well like a champ. We still managed an awesome day out! :Cool:

Wish I could say nice going but I can't! lol Well perhaps I can say that about taking the young one out fishing though.

Maybe "better luck next trip" is more suitable.
