What's up guys. Was my girlfriends bday yesterday and she wanted to go out to eat and get a birthday fish.
So, we went to Outback and seal beach pier afterward.
I was the only one to catch fish, 2 YFC 1 round stingray 1 smoothhound shark all on ghost shrimp.
My girlfriend swung n missed on a few short biters. So she didn't get the bday fish.
On a side note the mackerel bite was pretty consistant if u had a glow stick.
On the way to the mens room I saw 5 caught on the way down. On the way back 2-3 with one still flappin around in a bag.
Its elbow to elbow though so u gotta get a spot early evening.

Good luck out there
Ry

Thanks guys. I am pretty lucky... She even gets up at 5am to go with me. Things were different though until we started focusing on saltwater fishing. She never wants to be a freshy again! Lol.
Gotta love the ocean its too bad we probably won't be able to fish it anymore cuz of mlpa.
Anyone know the specifics on that n how it will effect surf/pier fisherman?
