Mammoth area tips for Sept 11 - 13???

Folks,

heading up with my daughter and dog for Sage Grouse hunt. Would also love to get in some trout. I dont fly fish, yet :).

Was wondering if you all can tip me to some good locations around Mammoth area? June Lake? Mammoth lakes?

bait? riggin? locations?

any and all help will be mucho appreciated :)

Head into Rick's Sports Center on Main Street and talk to them about the Lakes Basin. They'll also give you tips on hunting in the area and stock ammo.

Usually red and gold Thomas Buoyants and gold and black panther martins work good up there. Fly and bubble in the morning and night is also fun.
