View Full Version : Another Amazing day of Yellowfin/Dorado Fishing Offshore

well headed back again in search of the amazing wide open fishing.

Took some newbies that never caught anything bigger than trout, and now they are hooked to offshore. Found that magic paddy that was just amazing.


Only found 1 paddy that went wide open for about 45 minutes, slow pickens here and there on the troll. We had 14 yft,3 dodos, 2 yellowtail,and several skippies.....


Ended the day with over 20 fish mixed, with all the species. Seemed much much slower than the previous days.......but fish were quality.



i guess hot spot was the 43 on the porpoise.

i had my pb local dorado and a nice healty yft on bait......

I hear that south of the 425 8-10 miles was wide open today.. Just gotta find puff the magic patty. Good score. I am heading down tomorrow.

Congrats on the PB dorado! Nice looking fish!

Was out at around 425 to HD...fish were eating the paint off the boat....until our paddy got too many customers.

I don't remember any reports where Billy didn't catch any fish. Way to go dude.
