Sea Jay - Flyrodders Charter - 8-29

[Boldfin]

I was fortunate enough to be on the Saltwater Flyrodders charter on the Sea Jay August 29th. With five flyrodders

on board, we made a very smooth crossing over to the frontside of Santa Cruz. There were many boats already camped

out on the most popular spots, but Captain John soon found us a place of our own, and had us into nice-sized

barracuda and calicos. After moving into some deeper water, the bones joined the party. Aside from some furbag-

imposed slowdowns, the bite stayed on pretty consistently throughout the day. Some highlights:

a boldfin its been a long time since ive seen you on the fnn.thanks to you catchin the huge butt out of redondo ive been on this site almost everyday,finally got my boat meeting some really cool people on this site.gonna start lobster fshing here pretty soon with someone i meet here.i even started float tubin,and thats all to you catchin that butt that day.i found this site and got even more into fishing then i could of ever imagined,my wifey thinks im crazy for how much fishing im doing.my wife said thanks alot.lol

Very Nice. Gotta love the SW flyswater work !! Last PB trip to CAT I flailed around a little but the conditions were rippin' outta reason.

I guess there's no defense against the dogs other than let the fish run !!
