mammoth hike in streams

are there any streams with wild fish close to mammoth that can be reached by foot in a reasonable amount of time? a friend and i are going this weekend to fly fish. we usually fish the upper owens but would like to find something closer to mammoth, and new to us for part of the trip. he got into a car wreck a few years ago and cant hike very far, but a couple miles would be ok.

any info is appreciated. all trout strictly C&R.

Try Convict Creek, Hot Creek or Rush Creek.
