HOOKED UP WITH LONG TIME WATCHER OF THE SITE PHIL AND HIS HUNTING BUDDY JIM ,WE HIT THE WATER AND STARTED THE TROLL, WE DID THE SLOW PICKING ON MR STRIPEY .TALKING FISHING AND WAYS OF TRICKING MR STRIPEY. PHIL WAS TAKING MENTAL NOTES ON HOW THE TROLL WORKS. AROUND MID DAY AND WITH ABOUT ONE LIMIT IN THE KILL WELL, WE GOT NEAR SOME BOILS UP NEAR THE ELIZABETH CANYON,THE WERE SHORT SMALLER BOILS NOT LIKE THE OTHER DAY, SO WE CONTINUED ON AND AROUND 1 OCLOCK OR SO IT WENT WIDE OPEN WITH NICE SIZE STRIPERS AND BASS WE GOT OUR THREE LIMITS AND RELEASED SEVERAL BASS. THANKYOU PHIL AND JIM FOR USING MY SERVICE IT WAS A FUN DAY ON THE WATER,,,,,,,,t/o

WTG on the those limits. I'm sure glad to hear those boils are showing up all around the lake. Can't wait to get back out there and slay Mr. Stripey!

To Bob- You always will know the success of your guide trips when you see your clients smiling with a boat load of stripers at the end of the day! We'll have to start calling you "Mr. SOTO"- Striper Only/Trout Only. When we get back on the water at the Jewel, do your magic on those stripers. If there's one guy that can get a handle on those giant stripers there, it's you......

Good work Phil! It's about time you took that trip. I was fishing for Golden trout this weekend. We'll have to hit the surf again here soon. Did you ever use that Jigging rod that you built?
