Did a backpack trip out of Rockcreek last weekend. Got into Some nice Goldens with the biggest 17 inches and fat . Most were 12-14 inches. Three of caught about 25 fish. We kept 5 and ate them for dinner one night. If you have never had a fresh Golden on an open flame in the backcountry, well you haven't lived yet. I saw a picture at Rick's Tackle of a Golden that went 5 pounds easy. A young man that works there caught it. Amazing fish, but he wouldn't even give me a clue where he caught it. Overall good trip even if I came hame worked from the hike. good fishin! Dammit! I have to figure out how to re-size my pictures. I'll post some pictures after work.
