Buddy caught it today 08/29/09, in the morning.....

There's nothing to compare it to in the pic. Buckets come in all sizes. Where did he catch it? I'm curious as to what "type" of Bluegill it is. Doesn't really look like a Florida.

That's a lake Skinner fattie. It's pushing 2, close to 3 pounds. Healthy one. Too bad he wanted to eat the sucker. And yeah, best tasting fish you'll ever have......imo If you kill it, you better eat it!LOL

Come on CASTAWAY. How could it be "pushing 2, close to 3 Pounds"? Was it almost 2 or almost 3? Looking at my bucket, a 10 inch Bluegill will almost touch both sides and a 10 inch BG will weigh about 1 pound.
