Boarded the Pursuit out of 22nd St Landing in San Pedro, Ca. Grabbed a bunk and went to sleep. I was too tired from the night before.

Woke up to a beautiful day at the island.

The captain decided to travel down the backside of the island today, and we were rewarded.

The bonita came and play for a brief moment.

The barracuda were around, but not in large numbers.

The calico bass played all day long.

It was great calico bass fishing today.

I got lucky and caught me a little firecracker today. A yellow none the less.

The day started out nice and ended the same.
The fish count according to sportfishingreport.com was 41 anglers who caught 4 Opaleye, 4 Pacific Bonito, 73 Kelp Bass, 2 California Yellowtail, 7 Ocean Whitefish, 15 California Sheephead, 1 California Scorpionfish, 45 Halfmoon, 16 California Barracuda. I ended the day with 7 legal bass, a cuda, and one small yellow. Thanks for reading and goodluck on your next fishing adventure, Pokerface. All my fish were caught on 15lb with a flyline sardine.
