Sorry for the late report... Went out hoping to get into some of the bigger grade bluefin but ended up w/ quantity instead of quality. Capt. Randel and crew are awesome and did everything they could to keep us on the fish. I personally ended up w/ limits on the ahi, 1 dodo, 2 yellows, 1 bluegill, handfull of skippies and lots of fish farmed. Nothing out of the ordinary to report, standard 25-40lb line, fly-lined dines or 1/2 oz rubbercore. I managed to bang at least 10 YFT grinding the megabait on my new jig stick. Most of the YFT were about 15lbs w/ some pushing close to 25lb. The few albies were fat, most pushin 30. Biggest fish of the trip was a 35lb Yellow, and the boat total for 16 anglers was approx 260 fish. Did I mention FRESH SKIPJACK for Legends =) here kitty, kitty...
Oh and we got boarded by the Mexican Navy on our last day, no big deal. They just checked our permits w/ the captain and cost us an hour of fishing time. Sure was funny seeing all the passengers, including myself, go down below to get their wallets in case they searched all the bunks. lol

Looks like you guys did really well on the assorted species!

Getting boarded by Mex Navy....no bueno. Can you imagine trying to pay the "mordida" on that one! LOL !

Nice!! Oh and by the way...your report says that you caught "1 bluegill" among your other fish. Didn't know Bluegill swam in the open seas with the pelagics??? Gotta see this for myself....
