Heeeeeyyyy...Dont laugh at the "deep water reaction baits" thing....... they are getting them good right now on certain days.... Its actually pretty fun to get crank fish in 30+ft. :Big Grin::Big Grin:

Nice Green Carp.. er bass. Looks like another big bass that is blind in the left eye. Seems like some of the bigger bass are blind in their left eye. Wonder why?

Troy, it was nice meeting you today @ Angler's Marine. Oh and by the way, tell your fishing buddy congrats on hooking and landing that beautiful hog during the dog days of summer. Anyways, I will be heading out to Perris Lake maybe once or twice next week and hopefully I'll run into you and give you a holler.

Tight Lines.....

Nice job david! That thing is a toad for sure.

I have problems sometimes getting a deep diver down in that lower water column. Of course a long cast is needed but what gear usually gets the job done the best for you guys??

I use 10lb Vanish to keep my line down in the water and it allows me to make a long cast with 7'-11" rod. I crank fast and furious to get the bait down and then slow down to a steady retrieve always throwing a suspended bait not a floater.

Later; Big Ed!
