After finally being able to get my impeller fixed, decided to hit up Castaic to get in on the hot bite.

Picked up my niece Mary and her boyfriend Jimmy and we were on the water by 6:45.

Nice day out, sun was already shining right off the bat and no wind.

Headed toward c-point and right away got slammed....ended up with 2 sets of doubles...nice!!!

So the action was pretty much like this all day..plenty of double hookups...

Didn't really hook up with any fish with size too them though. Mostly small schoolies....

Saw a bunch of peeps out there and of course, Bob was putting a hurtin to Mr Stripy, with Wingnut crew on board.

Saw Steve out there slaying as well. Good to see you again. Also saw a few other members on the water today, sorry if I didn't remember your names.

Man it felt good to be back out there havin fun fishin!!!!


Caught over 40 stripes today, tossed a bunch back and kept limits for the fish tacos....

It's called a "Drought" Thats what happens when people use unnecessarily too much water during the summer months and there is not enough to go around.... That's why the cities have water ordinances to keep businesses and residents under control and "Drought Busters" to enforce them :Big Grin:
