View Full Version : Mounting trolling motor on Pontoon

I want to get a trolling motor for my ODC Classic pontoon (8'), but am wondering where to mount it. I see some of the new pontoons have a motor plate on the rear deck, but that looks like an awkward place to have the motor. Please post some pics and comments. I'd also like to see your battery mount.

Call the manufacturer. I think they make a mount kit.
The rear is where most boat motors go..

Dont forget...
Once you put any motor on any watercraft, It must be registered and have a CF number on it....
That includes Float Tubes and pontoons......

I've got the same pontoon. I don't know how much the kit is now, but they do sell a motor mounting kit with a built in anchor drop kit.
