Crab Hoopin' 8-21

[Saba Slayer]

Dusted off the nets and did a little Fishin' and Hoopin' yesterday. The Reds and Yellows crawled pretty good at the tide change mid-day...we filled two 5 gal buckets with some nice big Crabs and released a few that had eggs.

They don't crawl as good as the night time but we still had a couple of nice pulls with about 6 or 7in the nets. We only set 4 nets at a time.

Nice catch of crabs do you know if there are a lot of crabs in the south bay area thanks for the report

Find a rock pile anywhere in So. Cal. waters at about 85' and you'll probably find some Crabs. Sorry no GPS #s!

Can't seem to find crabs in OC.
